The American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) is excited to be bringing high quality ultimate programming to all boys and girls in the New York area! Our week-long summer camp offers your child the opportunity to learn the game of ultimate from some of the best regional and national level players in a safe, professional environment.
We will be offering two age divisions per camp as well as half day and full day so you can rest assured your child will be learning with their peers in a productive and efficient manner. All our camps are based on the fundamental tenets of fun, sportsmanship, and athletic development. However, more specifically, you can expect your child to learn the following:
-Introduction to and instruction in the fundamental skills of ultimate (throwing, catching, defense)
-Spirit of the Game: what it means, what it looks like in practice, and how it develops your child’s social emotional learning (SEL) skills
-Body awareness and basic athletic development
-Introduction to the basic structure and elements of competitive ultimate (offensive/defensive sets and basic game strategy)
-Introduction to and instruction in the fundamental skills of ultimate (throwing, catching, defense).
-Advanced instruction in fundamental skills of ultimate for those already familiar with the game of ultimate
-Spirit of the Game: what it means and how to apply it in the context of competition
-Body awareness and basic athletic development that will help your child succeed in any athletic endeavor
-Introduction to both basic and advanced concepts in competitive ultimate
Your child will also receive a T-shirt and disc as part of their registration to commemorate their experience at the AUDL All Star Camp. We look forward to providing the best possible service to both you and your child. No ultimate
frisbee experience necessary. Sign up now!
Scholarships are available for those in need. Please feel free to reach out to Matt Smith (email@example.com) with any questions or concerns you might have.
